If you'd asked me that question when I was in a deep clinical depression, I might not have even heard it, or I might have answered in some general way, something like “to be healthy, to have a family, a job, a house, money”. But it is not a topic I would have spent too much time on, I was far too busy with very important things, such as grocery shopping or going to work, those kind of things.

Since then, I've met lots of people who would react the same way. And yes, when we're drowning in daily obligations, or deep into disease, financial issues, a toxic, violent or simply dull environement, happiness seems OK for other people, but we can feel we're just lucky to manage survival. Better not look any further, we might lose the little we have.

So let me ask again: if happiness was delivered to your very door, what would it look like? Think about it for a minute. Explore the idea...

What if YOU could, all by yourself, create all that only you imagined?

No, this is not a joke, there are so many things you can do today, or more specifically RIGHT NOW, to create what you consider to be Happiness. You could start tapping of course, but not only that.

I came across a French TV program, that I believe should be published and paid for by WHO (Not just any “who”, the World-Health-Organization-who!). Their aim was to “make most recent scientific discoveries about happiness available to all”. It was called “Their secrets of happiness”. Sounds appealing to me, no?

However, they had to stop the programme after 3 episodes... because of a lack of audience. It makes you wonder... Do we (as in French people in this case) really want the tools to find happiness? A friend highlighted that maybe it is that people who are really ready to take ownership of their happiness are not in front of the TV anyway. Fair point.

But what about you now? Are you interested in creating your Happiness?

Here are a few comments I've heard from clients :
- “ When everything is fine, I seem to need to create new problems”
- “if my problem ever gets solved, something else will happen” (something bad, supposedly!)
- “I can't be happy when I see all this misery in the world”
- “I could never be happy because...”

The list is endless. What is your list?
I invite you to ask that "happiness question" the same way a child asks “why”, again and again: "what if happiness was possible for me?”, “what is happiness like for me?”, “I wonder how I would feel , if I was really happy?”
Stay tune for a tapping script on this topic in a few days!
Meanwhile, may I wish you a wonderful “Happiness Growing Day”?

PS: If you're interested in happily practicing your French, you'll find programme number 1 here
Such a programme probably exists in English, I just don't know of any. If you do, would you let know?
